About the Course

The Business Reporting (BR) module builds on the knowledge and skills learned in Financial Accounting, particularly around recording financial transactions and preparing limited company financial statements. There is a focus on the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) regulatory framework and the application of the requirements of the (examinable) standards to the preparation of financial statements. Students will be required to explain how financial information has been determined and to demonstrate how accounting concepts are applied in line with the requirements of IFRSs. They will also be required to analyze and interpret the content of financial statements and use these to advise users and aid decision making.

A full day revision course
With the examination option*, you’ll be eligible to sit the proctored 3-hour final exam (virtually - morning) and earn your certificate, CPD and credit towards the Canadian Public Finance Accreditation (CPFA).
*The final exam is sat globally on the same day on CIPFA’s ROGO examination platform and is made up of multiple-choice questions, objective questions and scenario-based questions. One (1) exam sitting and one (1) exam re-sit are included in the price. Additional exam sitting will be at the additional cost of $210.00. Exams can be sat on set dates in June, September, December and March. 50% is required to pass the exam.
